My research interests focus mainly on biomechanical aspects of human performance, specifically looking at efficiency of movement, energy transfer and movements which express high levels of force over very short periods of time.
Overview
Areas of Interest
Efficiency of Human Motion, specifically looking at total body efficiency during simulated rowing, including energy transfers between segments
Body segment inetrial parameters
Biomechanical measurement including 3D motion capture, force plates, dynamometry, EMG and accelerometry
Measures of force and time (impulse, RFD, etc) during jumping
Technology enhanced approaches to learning and teaching
