Please note these deadlines are subject to change based on limited spots for the available programmes. Certain programmes may have earlier deadlines due to earlier start dates.

International Admissions Deadlines FAQs
Which deadline applies to me?
Use the deadlines for your intake (for example, January or May). Some courses have different deadlines, such as BSc Adult Nursing, so always check the course-specific section on this page as well.
What is the deposit deadline and why does it matter?
The deposit is a tuition fee payment you need to make before we can start pre-CAS checks and issue your CAS. Your deposit must reach us by the deadline shown for your intake.
What is a pre-CAS interview and when do I need to do it?
A pre-CAS interview is a supportive assessment that helps understand your reasons for studying in the UK and at UEL, and to help prepare you for the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) credibility interview. If you are required to complete one, you must record it by the deadline listed for your intake.
What are “TB and maintenance documents” and when should I submit them?
These are documents that UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) may require as part of your Student visa application. They include:
- a UKVI approved Tuberculosis (TB) test certificate (if applicable) and
- financial evidence (known as ‘maintenance’) to show you can support yourself while studying in the UK.
If you are required to submit these documents to UEL as part of the pre-CAS checks, you must do so by the deadline shown for your intake.
What happens if I miss a deadline?
We may not be able to complete your pre-CAS checks or issue your CAS in time for your intake. This could mean deferring your start date and delaying your Student visa application. If you think you will miss a deadline, contact us as soon as possible.
