Why did you choose to study at UEL?
The course looked very vibrant, the facilities were good and I loved the structure of the buildings.

What is your one special memory of your time at UEL?
Preparing for my first exhibition which was an amazing experience.  The camaraderie with my fellow students and the ability to use such good exhibition spaces which was great.

What have you done since graduating from UEL?
I have set up a fostering agency and I am now training to be a business coach. I am also going to be a host for LGBTQ+ homeless young people.

What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
I recruit foster carers to help young people and am in charge of all the business functions. I am hoping to use my experiences in business having set up 7 companies to help other business people.

How did UEL help you get to where you are now?
I made connections with some great people, I learnt how to put an exhibition together. Art is something that I love very much and will always appreciate.

What advice would you give your younger self?
You are strong, never give up and never let people make you feel you are not good enough.

What advice would you give to UEL current students preparing to graduate?
Try to find a job that you love That you are passionate about and never give up even when things get hard.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don't know:
I am training for my 4th dan in ju jitsu and coach young people.

If you were to do it all again, would you still choose UEL?
Yes, I got a lot from my course.
