Everything you need to know about joining UEL
We're so pleased to make you an offer to study with us at the University of East London. You may be wondering what the next steps are with your offer and preparing to start at University. Read on for our handy checklist of next steps.
Accepting your offer!
If you are ready to accept your offer from UEL, you can do so through UCAS Hub or through your Applicant Portal if you applied directly to us – a personalised link is in our Offer Letter.
A quick breakdown of what your offer means:
Unconditional: You're in! You have met our entry requirements and we do not require any further qualifications from you.
Conditional: You're in if you meet the conditions. This may be certain grades in your tests or exams.

1. Meet Us
Over the Spring, we’ll be sending you an email to invite you to an Offer Holder Day. This is the perfect chance to meet your course tutors, explore our facilities and chat to current students. Want to visit before then? Why not join us for an Open Day or a campus tour?
2. Arranging Funding
After accepting your offer, we recommend arranging your finances as soon as possible. Check out our handy guide to paying fees and funding. We also offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to support you in your studies.
3. Applying for Accommodation
Want to live with us on campus? We're one of the very few universities in London to offer on-campus accommodation in our stunning waterfront halls of residence. We have a range of room types to suit all preferences. Discover more about our accommodation and how to apply.
4. Welcome Week and Enrolment
Before you join us at the start of term, we'll be sending out information on how to enrol online. This is an important process where you'll confirm how you will pay your fees, and upon completion, you'll have access to your course induction and teaching timetable.
5. Check your contact details
Before you enrol, we'll be sending you important information about joining UEL. Therefore, it's important that we can keep in contact with you.
