Offer holder FAQs
How do I accept my offer?
You can accept your offer through the Applicant Portal using the link sent to you by email. Once accepted, your application status will update automatically.
How long do I have to respond to a conditional offer?
If you have received a conditional offer, the deadline to respond depends on how and when you applied.
- If you applied through UCAS, your reply deadline is set by UCAS and shown clearly in UCAS Hub. Deadlines vary depending on when you received your offers.
- If you applied directly to UEL, your response deadline is shown in your offer letter or offer email, and you should respond through the Applicant Portal.
If you do not respond by the deadline, your offer may be withdrawn.
How can I check my application status if I no longer have access to my registered email account?
If you have lost access to the email address you used for your application, you may not be able to log in to the Applicant Portal or receive updates.
To regain access:
- Contact the Applicant Engagement team as soon as possible.
- Tell them you have lost access to your registered email address.
- They can help update your contact details and resend your Applicant Portal access.
You cannot change your registered email address yourself if you no longer have access to it.
Do I need to pay a deposit to confirm my offer?
Some courses require a tuition fee deposit to confirm your place. If a deposit is required, the amount will be clearly stated in your offer letter or offer email.
Any deposit you pay counts towards your total tuition fee.
What happens after I accept my offer or pay my deposit?
After accepting your offer (and paying a deposit if required), you will receive guidance on the next steps, such as providing documents or beginning the CAS process if you are an international student.
Who should I contact if I have a question about my offer?
If you have any questions about your offer, application status, or next steps, contact the Applicant Engagement team using the contact details on the UEL website.
