Online Interview Information for BSc (Hons) Podiatry
Thank you for booking an online interview for BSc (Hons) Podiatry at the University of East London.
How will the interview take place?
Your online interview will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Please download the Microsoft Teams App as Admissions will send you a link for your online interview booking. You will receive this approximately four working days before your interview date. You will be interviewed by a member of the podiatry teaching team.
What do I need to prepare?
Prior to the interview please read the NHS constitution.
Make sure you focus on the principles and values.
You will also need to demonstrate a good understanding of podiatry as a career and be able to justify why you would make a good podiatrist.
What will happen on the day?
On the day of the interview, you will need to provide photo ID such as a passport before the interview can commence.
We will ask you a number of questions and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the course and studying here at UEL.
Immediately following the interview, you will complete a short maths test that needs to be returned within 30 minutes. This will be sent to you as a Word document, should be completed on the document and returned by email.
Post interview task
After your interview you will be asked to complete a short reflection of the interview (no more than 250 words), this needs to be submitted via email to your interviewer. You will be provided with their email address at your interview.
This must be completed within 24 hours of your interview.
You may wish to reflect on:
- How you thought the interview went
- How you may have been perceived or
- Anything you would add or change.
Where should I address any request?
Once you have returned the written reflection any future queries should be emailed to the podiatry admissions tutor.
What about fees and accommodation?
This course is funded by the NHS Learning Support Fund which currently provides up to £6000 towards your fees. You would apply for this independently. For most students, you can also apply for a loan from Student Finance England. Please note that if you have already studied at degree level you are unlikely to receive any further loans from Student Finance England. You should visit the NHS Learning Support Fund website.

Can I visit UEL in person?
