Advice and Guidance
Student Money Advice & Rights Team (SMART)
Our Student Money Advice and Rights Team (SMART) is on hand to help you with any questions you may have before and during your time as a student here.
We appreciate that finance is one of the key considerations when applying to university. It's natural to wonder how you will pay your tuition fees, living expenses and all of the other costs associated with going to university.
We can give you advice, information and guidance on government and university funds so that you receive your full funding entitlement.
The University of East London is here for our students no matter what. During the COVID-19 global pandemic, we allocated over £500,000 to students through our Exceptional Hardship Bursary, which we established to help our students through financial difficulties they may have experienced as a result of the pandemic.
