Our rowing club
The UEL Boat Club (UELBC) is constantly growing and strives to recruit new members each academic year. The club provides opportunities for all members whether you are a complete beginner, novice, intermediate or high-performance rower. With the club’s successful ‘Learn 2 Row’ programme you are sure to receive professional and tailored training regimes based on each squad’s ability.
UELBC compete and excel in BUCS across a variety of competitions throughout each academic year including; Indoor Championships, Small Boats Head, 4’s & 8’s Head and the Regatta. The continued success and progression of the club was awarded by winning the 2017-18 Most Improved Club and the 2018-19 Club of the Year at the annual Sports Awards.
If you’re not a power rower, the club is always looking for people to cox, blog, write race reports and join the committee.
