At UEL, we give you the opportunity to take your learning out of the classroom - in east London and abroad. By working on real-life projects you'll gain the skills and experience that employers are really looking for.
We offer exciting opportunities for our students to take their learning overseas, whether its examining the music industry in India, learning about the Great Depression in New York or studying business management in Seoul.
Our students have been all over the globe, travelling as far afield as Ghana, Vietnam, Iran, Jamaica and China.
There are many options for projects to take you places - such as our Going Global bursary scheme, Global Scholars international community project programme, International exchanges or as placement opportunities as part of your course.
You can travel further with UEL. Visit us at our Open Days and talk to students who’ve travelled the world as part of their studies.

At UEL there’s a lot of teaching outside the classroom. I went out to Tanzania and spent four months studying at the University of Dar es Salaam. It opened my eyes to international development. I came back buzzing. I wanted to create social change.Firoz Patel , BA (Hons) International Development and NGO Management, founder of the charity Childreach International
