Winter Graduations 2026

The Graduation Team is excited to announce that our winter graduation ceremonies will be held from Tuesday 13 January until Friday 16 January 2026.

Registration is now closed.

Further information about the ceremonies will be sent out to those registered via email.

Please note that certificates are not handed out at the graduation ceremony. These are sent directly to your registered address approximately 12 weeks after your award is conferred.

If you have missed the deadline to register for the winter ceremonies, you can defer your attendance to the summer ceremonies in September 2026. Please let us know by Monday 19 January 2026 by contacting us at graduation@uel.ac.uk if you would like to do this.

More information about the summer ceremonies, including specific dates, will be published nearer the time.

Parking

There is no on-campus parking available, except if you are a blue badge holder, which must be pre-booked in advance. Please fill out this form once you have registered for graduation or contact graduation@uel.ac.uk to pre-book a space if this applies to you by Thursday 8 January 2026 at 4pm. Entry to campus will be refused to anyone who has not pre-booked a space.

We have partnered with Exchange Ilford to ensure car parking spaces are available for attendees over the week of graduation at your own expense. For further information on booking a car parking space at Exchange Ilford, including parking rates per hour, please visit the Exchange Ilford website.

A free UEL shuttle bus service will be available throughout the day between Exchange Ilford and Docklands campus for anyone who chooses to park here. The pick-up and drop-off point for the shuttle buses at Exchange Ilford will be Havelock Street, by the car park entrance and the buses will pick up and drop off outside the main car park at Docklands campus.

The University is not liable for any parking expenses incurred.
