Why did you choose to study at UEL?
I chose to study at UEL because it had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment, I first visited the campus.

What is your one special memory of your time at UEL?
I enjoyed my time as a student ambassador as I loved representing my course and sharing my experience with prospective students.

What have you done since graduating from UEL?
I still feel connected to UEL, as I accepted a role with one of UEL’s collaborative partners at Malvern House and worked for the Student Hub over the summer just before I graduated.

What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
I work in the student services team within the international study centre Malvern House, based at the Docklands campus. We help students prepare for their main UEL programme when they do not meet the entry requirements.

How did UEL help you get to where you are now?
UEL has helped me build a network through the opportunity to work as a student ambassador. It also provided many career opportunities, including informative workshops, career zone information and the mental wealth module, which was part of my degree.

What advice would you give your younger self?
Try not to worry too much about the future and focus on the present whilst enjoying your time as a student. Go for every opportunity that comes your way and increase your network and skillset through events and informative workshops.

What advice would you give to UEL current students preparing to graduate?
UEL provides plenty of opportunities to help you build your future career, so make sure you get involved as much as possible, whilst enjoying your time as a student.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know:
I can speak five languages fluently since I have lived in many different countries.

If you were to do it all again, would you still choose UEL?
I would choose UEL all over again. It provides everything I ever wanted, including the many opportunities to network and grow within a diverse and friendly atmosphere.
