Dr Jennifer van Krieken Robson

Senior Lecturer

Early Childhood Research Group, University of East London

Jenny Robson joined the University of East London in April 2014 following 26 years of work as a practitioner, manager and leader in children's services and education.    She has worked across the public and voluntary sector as a senior leader managing change and developing children's services; Jenny has placed the lived experiences and voices of children and their families at the centre of service development. Leading and working within multi-agency and interdisciplinary teams has been a key theme within her practice;  Jenny is interested in issues of justice, equality and rights for children and families and these can be addressed through public policy and practice;   Jenny has worked with children and families who are disadvantaged by structural, systemic and societal issues including those seeking asylum and from Gypsy Roma and Traveller backgrounds.   In 2012 Jenny completed a PhD exploring practitioners' responses to issues of inequality, injustice and breaches of rights for children.
