English language requirements:

All students are required to meet our standard English Language requirements, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English (PTE), except for students who have studied in English medium throughout their studies and achieved one of the following results in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)

(Maharashtra/West Bengal/Karnataka/Delhi/Tamil Nadu/Sikkim/Rajasthan/Madhya Pradesh/ Seven Sisters of India (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland/Tripura):

60 per cent or above 

Kerala State Board:

65 per cent or above (from 2nd year, i.e. Year 12)

ALL OTHER BOARDS / STATE BOARDS:

• 70 per cent or above Level 2 Maths (if required):
• Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Mathematics (Year 12) with 50% or Higher.
• If Mathematics has not been taken in Year 12, then strong Year 10 Maths results will be acceptable (80 per cent+). Year 12 Statistics and Accountancy will be accepted for RDBS courses with 60 per cent+

LEVEL 3 SUBJECT SPECIFIC (IF REQUIRED):

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) with a grade B or 70 per cent in a subject-specific course.

First year of a degree or diploma in a relevant subject / with relevant modules. Foundation Year / International Foundation Programme  

 An aggregate score of over 50 per cent / C1 in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 / All India Senior School Certificate / Indian School Certificate / Intermediate Pass Certificate, and a score of 50 per cent in Mathematics. 3 or 4-year Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education or in an Allied Health subject) with 55 per cent or above

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Students must have completed one of the following:

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 / All India Senior School Certificate / Indian School Certificate / Intermediate Pass Certificate with an overall average of 60 per cent
• 3 or 4-year Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education or in an Allied Health subject) with 55 per cent or above. Note: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) includes AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate), which is a year 12 award conferred by the CBE/CBSE exam board

PAKISTAN 

• Intermediate/ Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with 60 per cent or above
• A Levels with the equivalent UCAS tariff points. A significant number of students in Pakistan take A levels from a UK awarding body
• A 1-year Diploma or Advanced Diploma from a recognised institution, including DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer) with 55 per cent or above
• The first year of a 2 or 4-year degree with a CGPA of 2.50 or 50 per cent above
• A recognised International Foundation course

NEPAL 

English language requirements:

All students are required to meet our standard English Language Requirements, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English (PTE), except for those who have studied in English medium throughout their studies and achieved 70 per cent or above in English Language in the Higher Secondary School Certificate.

LEVEL 2 MATHS (IF REQUIRED):

Higher Secondary School Certificate with 60 per cent in maths

FOUNDATION YEAR / INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME:

 Students must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Year 12) with an aggregate score of 50 per cent or above.

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Students must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Year 12) with a GPA of 2.8 or 60 per cent or above.
Students with lower grades must have passed a recognised International Foundation course.

SRI LANKA 

• 
  Three Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Advanced level) with a minimum Grade CCS
• Monash College Diploma Part 1 with 80 per cent or Part 2 with 60 per cent

BANGLADESH

English language requirements:

All students are required to meet our standard English Language Requirements, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English (PTE)

LEVEL 2 MATHS (IF REQUIRED):

 Higher Secondary Certificate or Alim (awarded by Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board) Maths with 3.0 / 50 per cent / BHigher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and a recognised International Foundation course or equivalent.

Exceptional students with a GPA of 4.5 in HSC / Intermediate Certificate (or First Class under the previous grading system) and high grades in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) can be considered.

Diploma (from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board) with an overall CGPA of at least 3.0 (out of 4.) or 65 per cent+.

LEVEL 3 SUBJECT SPECIFIC (IF REQUIRED):

• Foundation programme in a relevant subject / with relevant modules
• First year of a degree or Diploma in a relevant subject / with relevant modules.

Note: Cannot accept Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) even if the applicant has good subject-specific grades.
 

FOUNDATION YEAR / INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME:
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate with GPA 3.0 / 50 per cent / Grade B

Exceptional students with 4.5 in Alim (awarded by Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board) and high grades in Dhakil can be considered.

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Students must have passed one of the following:

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and a recognised International Foundation course or equivalent.
• Exceptional students with a GPA of 4.5 in HSC / Intermediate Certificate (or First Class under the previous grading system) and high grades in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) can be considered
• Diploma (from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board) with an overall CGPA of at least 3.0 (out of 4.) or 65 per cent +.

Bhutan

English language requirements:

All students are required to meet our standard English Language Requirements, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English (PTE)

LEVEL 2 MATHS (IF REQUIRED):

Bhutan Higher Secondary Education Certificate (BHSEC) with 60 per cent overall (from 2007)

Bhutan Higher Secondary Education Certificate (BHSEC) with 70 per cent overall (from 2007)

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Students must have passed one of the following:
Bhutan Higher Secondary Education Certificate (BHSEC) with 70 per cent overall (from 2007)
Royal Bhutan Polytechnic Certificate or Diploma
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 / Indian School Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate with an overall average of 60 per cent (see INDIA)

Maldives

English language requirements:

All students are required to meet our standard English Language Requirements e.g. IELTS, TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English (PTE) e.g. IELTS, TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English (PTE) except students with Grade C or above in English Language at UCLES O Level / Secondary School Certificate (SSC).

LEVEL 2 MATHS:

UCLES O-level / Secondary School Certificate (SSC) maths Grade C or Maldives National Qualifications Framework (MNQF) Level 4 Certificate IV with a minimum of 50 per cent.

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Students must have passed one of the following:-

• ULCES with the equivalent UCAS tariff points / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) grade C or above in 5 subjects
• Maldives National Qualifications Framework (MNQF) Level 5 Diploma
• Maldives National University Foundation Studies Level II
• A recognised International Foundation course
