My work sits at the intersection of financial technology, sustainability, and digital transformation, with a particular focus on ESG, blockchain, and emerging financial systems.

OVERVIEW

My research examines how emerging financial technologies are transforming market structures, corporate behaviour, and governance frameworks. I focus particularly on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), blockchain systems, and artificial intelligence in finance, exploring how these developments influence financial performance, disclosure practices, and institutional decision-making. I have published peer-reviewed research in blockchain and digital finance and am actively developing a portfolio of work targeting high-impact (CABS ***) journals. 

Current research projects include ESG-performance linkages, AI-driven financial disclosure, and sustainable finance in global institutions. Alongside research, I contribute to postgraduate teaching and supervision in FinTech and business analytics. I support students in applying data-driven approaches to real-world problems, particularly in areas such as financial markets, sustainability reporting, and digital innovation.

My previous experience in the energy sector - where I worked as an Energy Manager - provides a strong applied foundation to my academic work, particularly in energy finance and sustainability transitions.
