Sujay Sinha is a senior lecturer of Business Strategy and Director (MBA), at the Department of Innovation & Management. He is responsible for leading the MBA programme, both operationally and strategically.

Dr. Sinha’s academic interests include business education, international partnerships and the functioning of platform ecosystems. Additionally, researching emerging markets, particularly India is a dominating context of work. Dr Sinha had a professional career spanning 15 years with organisations with Reliance Industries Ltd and General Electric.
OVERVIEW
Sujay’s professional career over twenty-seven years can be divided into two distinct categories: with the industry and followed by an academic in higher education. Incidentally, in both the categories I have spent considerable time in the emerging markets to develop a reasonable understanding of this phenomenon.

- Sujay is visiting faculty at G. D. Goenka University and B. M. Munjal University in India.
CURRENT RESEARCH
Research and Impact
Sujay's research has contributed to the process of legitimisation of private business schools in India from a resource-based and institutional theory perspective. BAM 2023, Sujay's paper won the best developmental paper award. He is coordinating to host the ‘Aston India Conference’ at the University of East London.
