Paul has over 15 years’ experience in business analytics and project management. Before entering academia, he began his career in computer science, specialising in programming, data analysis and governance. He then moved into project management, contributing to multiple five-star rated projects in coordination and governance roles.

OVERVIEW

Paul brings over 15 years’ industry experience to the Strategic Business Analytics and Applied Business Analytics modules he teaches, while also contributing to other modules on the MBA programme.

He is an alumnus of the University of East London, where he completed his MBA, and is currently pursuing his PhD. He returned to share his industry expertise, professional networks and applied knowledge with students.

He has managed multiple interconnected teams across diverse projects, producing reports and dynamic dashboards that deliver performance insights for key stakeholders. He applies industry-standard analytics and visualisation tools to support delivery, resource planning and schedule optimisation, ensuring operational and client requirements are met.

His teaching is practical and hands-on, enabling students to apply analytics tools, interpret data and generate business intelligence for informed decision-making. He encourages active participation and supports students in developing the skills needed to achieve their academic and professional goals, with an emphasis on critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.
