His background has its origins in Computer Science which encompasses programming, data analysis, and governance before moving into project management in the industry, working on multiple five-star rated projects in a coordination and governance capacity.

OVERVIEW
Paul has managed multiple interconnected teams on diverse projects whilst producing reports and dynamic dashboards, generating project performance information and insights to key stakeholders, and utilising applicable tools and visualisation to drive delivery, resource, and schedule optimisation among others, in a bid to ensure operational demands and clients' expectations are accomplished. These knowledge and critical skills among many others have been brought into the learning space and are tremendously beneficial to students.
Equipped with practical knowledge and skills developed over the years, Paul is very passionate about teaching and helping students form their knowledge as co-contributors within the learning space, with a view of ensuring students can achieve their academic goals and express acquired knowledge in highly effective and transformative ways. He is an alumnus of UEL having acquired his MBA at the University and returned to share his expertise, skills, knowledge, and network where possible, which gives the students the best learning experience across the board.
Paul Olayemi is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law (RDSBL). His teaching primarily focuses on Strategic Business Analytics, and Applied Business Analytics while also taking on Strategy and Mental Wealth teaching among others within the MBA programme.
He believes in the utilisation of practical, hands-on experience in using big data analytics and visualisation tools to generate the business intelligence key stakeholders require to make informed decisions and solve business problems. He deems it essential for BA students and practitioners to acquire critical data analytical skills and techniques to excel in the current data-driven business environment.
His research interests include business analytics, information management systems, and Big data analytics. His interest in these research areas is to fundamentally examine how business analytics could help organisations in informing their decision-making process from BA-generated business insights. He aims to explore how analytical tools and skills could be leveraged to drive value and insights in the business space.
