Dr Nitish Chooramun is a lecturer in the Computer Science and Digital Technologies department. He has taught at multiple levels in computing programmes at UEL and has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate project students.

OVERVIEW
Dr Nitish Chooramun has many years of experience both in academia and industry and has participated in numerous conferences and projects in the UK and overseas.
CURRENT RESEARCH
His research interests include Intelligent Systems, evacuation dynamics, Multi-Agent Systems and Internet of Things (IoT). He has participated in multiple funded projects, including EU projects and is actively supervising MPhil/PhD students. Moreover, he has worked on the development of algorithms for representing pedestrian movement and behaviours in a variety of environments. He has authored journal papers, conference papers and book chapters within these research domains.
