Liz Aylott has over 21 years experience as an HR specialist and lecturer in Employment Law and Employee Relations. She had a career in HR both in industry and the charitable sector, moving to teach undergraduates and postgraduates in both FE and HE. At the heart of all she does is the employee or student.

OVERVIEW
Liz has worked both as a Senior Lecturer and in a Cross-University teaching development role. This has led her to develop her interest in Student Experience, Assessment and Feedback.
She has experience at work, and within her wider family, of people with physical and mental health disabilities and learning disabilities. This has led her to be interested in the student experience and how to build equity and individualism into the HE bureaucracy.

CURRENT RESEARCH
Liz Aylott has written articles and books for HRM professionals, through the CIPD publisher, Kogan Page and through its online magazine, People Management. This ensures that HRM professionals have access to these.
She is currently working with the CIPD on research into Positive Action.
