Dr Jamiu Adetola Odugbesan specialises in sustainable management, strategic leadership and digital innovation. His expertise spans business strategy, organisational behaviour, environmental, social and governance (ESG), artificial intelligence in business, entrepreneurship and quality assurance in higher education. His research examines how organisations can improve sustainability, innovation and performance through responsible leadership, digital transformation and organisational learning. He also has extensive experience in curriculum development, academic quality assurance, programme validation and external examining.

OVERVIEW

Dr Jamiu Adetola Odugbesan is a Senior Lecturer in the Royal Docks School of Business and Law at the University of East London. He is the Quality Assurance Lead for the Department of Business, Entrepreneurship and Finance and the nominated Course Lead for the proposed Business Management with Psychology programme.

With more than nineteen years of experience in higher education across the UK and internationally, Dr Odugbesan teaches business management, leadership, digital business and strategic management. His research focuses on sustainable management, environmental, social and governance (ESG), artificial intelligence, digital transformation and innovation. He welcomes opportunities to collaborate with researchers, industry partners and prospective doctoral students working in these areas.

He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Chartered Management and Business Educator (CMBE) and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI).
