Extenuation Procedures

The outcome of all extenuation claims can be viewed through your module results in UEL Direct.

*NEW* Student Feedback and Information available for your Extenuation Claim via UEL Direct (once module results published)

If you have submitted a claim/s for extenuation as of Semester A 2011/12, you will now receive feedback concerning why your claim may have been rejected. Please log in to UEL Direct to see your results and follow the link to your extenuation results.

Please also see the list of feedback codes and reasons for further information.

If you require further support and guidance regarding any aspect of your claim, please refer to the Student Guidance and FAQs below and/or contact the Students Union.

Students wishing to claim Extenuating Circumstances should carefully read the following Student Guidance.

To claim Extenuating Circumstances students must submit an Extenuation Form. Please read the guidance notes on the form carefully.

Students wishing to claim Extenuating Circumstances after the published deadlines must submit a Late Extenuation Form IN ADDITION to the Extenuation Form.
