So you’ve got your exam results. What now? Results day is the start of Clearing, when we offer any spare places for this year’s degree courses. It’s another way to get a place on one of our fantastic courses.

The UEL advisor I spoke to during Clearing was very calm and knew exactly what they were talking about. I got my email confirmation a few days later and was asked to come in for my induction. Overall, I found the experience much better than I expected.
What happens now?
If you’re starting a course at UEL this September, there are a few things to take care of before you start your studies. These include securing your accommodation, paying your fees, collecting your UEL student ID card and arranging childcare if you're a parent. Please contact us if you think you’ll need any support with a disability or dyslexia.
As a new student, you’ll need to enrol during our Induction week in September - where you’ll also get the chance to meet and make friends with students from around the world during Freshers’ Week. If you’re an undergraduate, you’ll also receive your free Samsung tablet, pre-loaded with all your course text books.

Disclosure and barring service checks
For some UEL courses, such as those where you may be in contact with children or vulnerable adults, you’ll need to show proof of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Read More
If you did better in your exams than you expected, you can apply for a different course at UEL through Adjustment. Your existing firm choice will be protected while you explore other options.More about Clearing
Waiting for your results?
UCAS will automatically send us your A level, AS level, GCSE, Access and BTEC results. For other qualifications, you’ll need to send us electronic confirmation - e.g. document scans - using the link contained in your offer email.Clearing Explained
If you are an international student who is currently resident or studying in the UK, you can still apply for one our courses beginning in September 2015.

If you would like to talk to someone in person about applying to the University of East London, we offer a friendly and informative advice service. It's open to all, whether you're a home or international student and are interested in undergraduate or postgraduate study.
To secure a place on one of our courses or get some one-to-one advice about your application, you're welcome to drop into one of our two Application and Advice Centres.
These are located at our new University Square Stratford building and in the library at our Docklands Campus.
If you're unsure about your application, need clarification about the new entry criteria or would like to discuss your individual circumstances, you can speak to one of our friendly qualified Advice and Guidance (IAC) advisors.
Specialist advisors are on hand to deal with any queries about fees and funding, and also we hold drop-in sessions to discuss the skills needed for higher education study.
We can advise you whether you need to undertake a preparatory course such as our New Beginnings access course before embarking on a degree.
If you meet all the entry requirements we may be able in a position to make you a firm offer during your visit, though you'll need to bring:
1. evidence of your academic qualifications
2. your passport
3. evidence that you have been in the country for the past three years.
