We were delighted to welcome our class of 2025 Your Future Summer School to UEL from 7 – 11 July for UEL’s Your Future Summer School 2025!

This year’s free, non-residential Summer School was delivered in partnership with Make Happen. Throughout the week, students took part in academic taster sessions delivered by each of our academic schools and discovered just how broad and dynamic the world of health really is. 

The programme also supported students to become:

• HE Ready through workshops on student finance and personal statements
• Future Ready with sessions on budgeting, collaboration, and understanding personal strengths
• Career Ready through interview skills and an Industry 5.0 workshop

The week culminated in students creating short-form social media videos exploring the question: “What does health really mean in today’s world?”
