Annual ACE alumni event featuring Chris Williamson, founder partner of WestonWilliamson+Partners

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend our 2016 Alumni Event for the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering (ACE) which will take place on Tuesday 8 March 2016 at our Docklands campus.

It is hoped that you will take advantage of this opportunity to return to UEL for an evening of social and professional networking with your fellow alumni, current students and members of staff.
GUEST SPEAKER: Chris Williamson, founder partner of WestonWilliamson+Partners
RIBA / RPTI / MAPM / BA Arch Hons / Dip Arch / MA Urban Design. MSC Project Management. Previously worked for Welton Beckett, New York before joining & Michael Hopkins from 1981 – 1985.

Chris co-founded WestonWilliamson+Partners in 1985. He has taught at De Montfort University and at the University of North London. Chris is a member of the Design Review Panel for Southwark and previously Newham Councils and an adjacent advisor to CABE for major projects.

Chris has a Master’s degree in Project Management and is also a qualified urban designer and a member of the RTPI. Chris has acted as an expert witness for TWA and Planning enquiries.

He is a member of the Worshipful Company of Architects and a Freeman of the City of London. He is also a visiting professor at the University of East London.

He is currently a member of RIBA Council and chair of the RIBA Competitions Review Panel and sits on the International Committee. Chris is the RIBA’S Business Skills Ambassador.

A buffet and drinks reception will follow the event, allowing you to meet the speakers and chat with current students, staff and alumni.
