Offer Holder Days

Congratulations you're an offer holder

You are now an offer holder at the University of East London

Our Offer Holder Days are for those who have received an offer to study an undergraduate programme at UEL starting in September 2018. This exciting event will give you the opportunity to experience what it is like to study at UEL, and will give you a chance to take a tour of our impressive campuses and facilities.

Your Offer Holder Day will be personalised, with a bespoke subject specific timetabled programme to ensure you get the best introduction to your future here with us. It all kicks off from 10am sharp, so don't be late otherwise you'll miss out on the fun. We'll wrap things up at around 4pm so you'll have plenty of time get to know your peers, lecturers and find out more about your course.

We've scheduled two events below, just select the date you're free and book your attendance. If you wish, offer-holders are permitted to bring along a maximum of 2 guests, we can’t allow anymore due to health and safety regulations. We look forward to seeing you soon.

If you came to our Open Day you will have gained some first impressions and hopefully been impressed with what you saw and the academic team that you met.  The Offer Holder Day is all about building on that, taking more time to get to know the lecturers and tutors; asking any questions that have occurred to you since the Open Day; and getting a better feel for the course and the team.

It’s also a great opportunity to meet people that will be on your course and start to make friends ahead of September.  And there will of course be current students around to talk to.  Their point of view will be really useful to you.

A great chance for you to meet other people who have offers on your course, they could be your future classmates.

You can meet your lecturers who will be teaching you and find out more information about module content on the course.

It’s a great chance for you to meet with current students and hear about their experiences and learn some top tips and get some advice on anything from, where is good to go out, what it’s like to be a student and what academic support UEL offers.

That’s fine, we have lifts available in each of our buildings and all areas of the event are fully accessible by wheelchair. Sign Language interpreters are available at our Docklands and Stratford campus. Please ask a member of staff on arrival if you need any additional assistance.

Absolutely! You are more than welcome to bring family along with you, we understand that your family is a crucial part of this important stage in your life.

However, we can only allow you to bring a maximum of two guests due to health and safety. When you register to attend the Offer Holder day there is a section on the booking form when you can specify if you would like to bring a guest or two.

We think it’s important that you attend the taster sessions on your own, though.  So we also have a parents and guests lounge where while you are enjoying your taster session or mini-lecture your family will get the opportunity to hear more about the university and get some of their questions answered.

Of course!

The talks available on the day are:

Welcome talk- Introduction to the University and the services and opportunities that we provide.

Finance Talk- opportunity to hear about student finance as well as scholarships and bursaries that are unique to UEL.

Yes, there certainly there are. You are able to have a campus tour which looks at the facilities that you will be using, and accommodation tours (Docklands campus).

All Offer Holders will be invited to attend the event except for those looking to study Podiatry and Physiotherapy- these programmes are invited to a separate event.
