We want students who, like us, believe in the value of helping the community and are passionate about giving back. For example, through volunteering, charity work, or educational projects.
If you want to be one of our community champions and join as a UEL Volunteer, we want to hear from you. Ultimately we want you to get involved, connect with your community, and make a real difference. We believe you have a powerful role to play in making a difference to local people and charities.
The UEL Civic Engagement Scholarship of £1,000 is a cash reward for students who are dedicated to helping others.
As long as you are a Home/EU student, starting an on-campus course in September 2020 you can apply for this scheme. You need to be ready to not only commit to studying with us but join us as a Civic Engagement champion. For more details see our full terms and conditions.
