Many of our business classes are taught in the ultra-modern teaching hub at University Square Stratford, complete with extensive library facilities, seminar rooms and lecture theatres. Along with our other campuses at Docklands and Stratford, you'll be situated in the heart of London's most energetic and rapidly changing district. Stratford is booming, with new businesses - from independent startups to global corporations - entering the region every day. We're also connected to the capital's financial and business centre at Canary Wharf, where many of our students go on business trips, seek placements and network with business leaders from around the world.
Our libraries and learning services are at the very heart of the University. We have a superb range of resources and facilities to help you with your studies and we’re committed to offering you a first-class student experience. Our Stratford library, opened at a cost of £14 million, is a state-of-the-art building which provides an inspirational environment for study and research. Overlooking the Royal Docks, our modern Docklands library is another fantastic space for learning, offering a wide range of resources as well as group and silent study facilities. It’s also home to the UEL Skillzone, where you can get extra help with your academic writing.
Both our libraries are open 24/7 during term time, giving you maximum flexibility about when you choose to study. As well as visiting our libraries in person, you can also take advantage of our growing collection of electronic resources, including e-books, e-journals and databases.
To ensure our students get the best possible support, we’ve opened brand-new Student Support hubs at our Docklands and Stratford campuses - at a cost of £3.1 million. These contain centralised helpdesks as well as comfortable areas to relax and socialise. The helpdesks provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for every possible need, from course-related enquiries to personal issues such as health and money matters. They’re designed to be your first port of call if you have an enquiry or problem.
Our Centre for Innovation Management and Enterprise is a research and development centre. Created by the School of Business and Law with the support of Martin Slark and Molex Inc, its vision is to achieve and sustain globally recognised thought leadership in innovation management and enterprise.The Centre aims to support all students and members of the wider community who are keen to explore their innate enterprise skills, through monthly workshop run by Consensio. These enable participants to explore opportunities, network with fellow students and identify suitable business ideas for further development.
Our Business, Human Resource Management and Marketing courses are highly professional degrees designed to give you the best start to your career. We have close ties to professional organisations like the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, as well as a businesses - both local and global - in a variety of sectors.
