Confirming your interview
To choose your date please log on to Applicant Portal. If later it appears that you are unable to attend on the day please let us know as far in advance as possible. We will try to offer an alternative but please be aware, owing to the large number of applications we receive, this may not always be possible.
Due to the interactive nature of the group exercise, attendance in person is required and Skype or telephone interviews cannot be arranged.
How should I prepare for my interview?
Please come prepared to talk about yourself, why you are interested in this particular course and specifically what makes you a good candidate to study with us. Please also think about any questions you would like to ask us.
You are not required nor need to bring anything in addition.
Where does my interview take place?
During the lockdown, interviews will take place online via video link. Please download Skype software in preparation for your interview.
All interviews take place at the School of Psychology on the Stratford University of East London campus. The address is:

On arrival, you should report to the main entrance reception desk in the Conference and Computing Centre and you will be collected from here by a staff member. Directions to the University can be found on our Finding Us page.
What does the interview process involve?
During the lockdown, the selection process will comprise of an individual interview, lasting approximately 45 minutes, and a written task, also lasting 45 minutes. You are not required to prepare any materials for the day.
Once you confirm your availability, the interview panel will email you the details of their Skype names, how to make contact, the time slot for the interview and the time slot for the written exercise.
How will I know if I have been successful in my application?
Everyone interviewed will hear the results at the same time. We wait until we have assessed all candidates and then allocate places. You will be notified of the outcome of your interview by the 1st of April 2020. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications and interviews, we are unable to offer detailed individual feedback.
