FAQs
What should my ePortfolio include?
Your ePortfolio should show your creative process, not just finished work. It should demonstrate your interest in animation and your ability to develop ideas visually.
You may include a range of work, such as:
- Animation work (finished or in progress)
- Storyboards and animatics
- Character designs and environment designs
- Sketchbooks and visual research
- Concept art and development work Illustrations or experimental visual work
We are interested in how you generate ideas, explore movement, and develop visual narratives, as well as your technical and creative strengths.
What format should I use?
Your ePortfolio should be submitted digitally.
You can choose one of the following formats:
- A PDF portfolio
- A personal website
- A video platform link (such as Vimeo or YouTube)
If you submit links, please ensure:
- All links work correctly
- Content is publicly accessible (no passwords)
- Files play smoothly and are clearly labelled
If you submit a PDF, keep the file size manageable and present your work clearly and logically.
How much work should I include?
Your ePortfolio should include a carefully selected range of work, rather than everything you have produced.
Focus on:
- Quality over quantity

- Showing development and experimentation
There is no requirement to include only animation work. Related creative work that supports your interest in animation is welcome.
