What are the entry requirements to transfer to a university and apply for year 2 or year 3?
If you want to transfer to University of East London for 2-year or 3-year entry, you need to:
- Currently be studying on a course in an equivalent subject area
- Have achieved grades equal to the entry requirements for first-year entry (A-levels, international qualifications, foundation years, access courses or other relevant requirements)
- Have covered sufficiently similar content to that of our first or second year students
For entry in year 2 / level 5, we would normally expect you to have completed 120 credits at level 4. For entry into year 3 / level 6, we would normally expect you to have completed 240 credits at level 5.

An academic from a relevant area of study will assess your previous learning, including programme content and level, and decide regarding the amount of credit that can be recognised towards your University of East London award.
