Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is an excellent first step toward a career as a solicitor or barrister. Because law is such a broad field, we offer a great deal of flexibility in our programmes.
You can choose our general LLB (Hons) Law programme or one of our specialised pathways that combine law with another subject, such as:
Get hands-on experience
Our diverse LLB programmes also offer an optional placement year. This gives you a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and connect what you learn in the classroom to the legal industry.
We or our partner organisations will provide you with a placement where you will gain real-world experience handling issues related to social welfare law. International students who wish to do a placement year must indicate this on their application. This will extend your degree by one full-time year.
A career-focused degree
An LLB from UEL provides excellent training for a wide range of professions. Our graduates go on to become paralegals, journalists, policy advisors, consultants, and lawyers, as well as finding success in business and finance. A legal education is a valuable asset in almost any career.
LLB (Hons) Law at UEL
