Meet some of the students that have been involved in the creation, management and promotion of the UEL After Dark festival and hear what they want to get out of the experience.
Humera Shaikh
Hello, I'm Humera from Gujarat, India, currently pursuing an MBA in Project Management at UEL. Previously, I worked as a Sales and Project Co-Ordinator for a Denmark-based pharmaceutical company. My skills include organizational skills, communication skills, team collaboration, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability, technical proficiency, customer service, negotiation skills, market research, planning, and multitasking.
I am eager to contribute, as I will be dedicated to photography and videography for After Dark Events. Additionally, I bring valuable management and coordinating skills, ready to assist the team as needed for a successful and well-organized event.
Shikha Agrawal
My name is Shikha Agrawal, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science from the University of East London. This fuels my creativity, and I am thrilled to contribute my unique ideas and efforts to this event to ensure its flawless execution. By working together, we can turn this mesmerising event into reality.
Radha Chawla
My Name is Radha Chawla, and I am from Delhi, India. I am an HR professional with 12 years of experience in all HR functions. I am an active personality and like to explore new things and new challenges with a positive attitude. In my free time, I like listening to music and doing some Zumba to energize myself.
I am studying for a Master of Business Administration in UEL and my core interest in the professional world is to understand Business. I have chosen the MBA in Business Analytics course as I want to run my own chain of businesses in the future.
Ankita Sharma
Ankita is a filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and a diverse portfolio of cinematic works. She has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the art and craft of filmmaking. In the past year, she has successfully produced over 50 videos for her YouTube Channel, Modish Horror Stories. She gained a subscriber base of 20 thousand subscribers. During her tenure at Media Monks, she was able to deliver over a thousand teacher-led videos from the production sets of client Embibe. She also managed domestic and International projects for Mondelez.
During her first term at UEL studying MA Filmmaking, she successfully made one documentary film and two short films. Previously she has worked on over 15 short films as an Assistant Director for multiple production houses such as; Joker Films, Dream Real Media, Semiqolon, and Sonvick Production.
Ankita has also submitted a short film to the Cannes Lions Film Festival. Before starting her filmmaking journey, she spent several years as a leader at Red Ambarella Training. During this time Ankita generated £20k in revenue with thousands of students receiving training.

I am a Senior software engineer with eight years of experience. I have crafted applications that impress and serve. I also know many languages and frameworks. I design systems with the user in mind, and I'm not afraid to innovate. I am seeking new challenges and want to dive into the world of Data Analysis, where numbers tell a story.
