Volleyball at UEL

Our volleyball programme is led by International level coaches Ian Legrand and Jefferson Williams. Both have coached squads consisting of a mix of domestic and international players, many of who have gone on to launch professional careers.

Our volleyball scholarship programme provides extensive on and off court support. Players will have opportunities to be on the court 5-7 times a week. UEL scholars can also access the Volleyball England Super League through our partnership with the 2023 Men’s National Cup Winners Malory Eagles. Upon completion of the indoor season volleyball scholars have the option to train for and compete in the BUCS Beach Championship held in June

Current scholars have represented the England Development Squad and alumni have represented Bulgaria and Romania at Indoor and Beach volleyball respectively.
