On-campus halls of residence at UEL Docklands, from £189/week

The University of East London offers on-campus student accommodation at Docklands Student Village from £189 per week for 2026/27, with all utilities, Wi-Fi, and 24/7 security included in the price. Over 1,100 students live in our waterfront halls, located directly at Cyprus DLR Station for fast access to Canary Wharf and central London. Applications for 2026/27 are now open, rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with a guarantee deadline of 1 June 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about UEL accommodation

How much does student accommodation cost at UEL?

UEL accommodation prices for 2026/27 start at £189 per week for a West Halls standard room, rising to £238 per week for an East Halls studio. All prices are fully inclusive of utilities, Wi-Fi, and maintenance support.

Is UEL student accommodation guaranteed?

Yes. UEL guarantees accommodation to eligible new and returning students who apply by the guarantee deadline of 1 June 2026. You can still apply after this date, but rooms will be allocated subject to availability.

Can international students apply for UEL halls?

Yes. International students are welcome to apply for on-campus accommodation at UEL. Our Residential Life team offers dedicated support for international students, and Welfare Officers are available seven days a week.

What is included in the rent at UEL?

All utilities (gas, electricity, water), high-speed Wi-Fi (up to 100 Mbps), a TV licence in eligible flats, and 24/7 security and maintenance support are included in the weekly rent.
