Get support before you start your course. We offer advice, short courses and guidance to help you prepare for university.
If you are returning to education, you can access tailored support, including routes into degree study.
What support you can get
You can access:
- One-to-one advice with a careers adviser to help you choose a course and understand entry requirements
- Support with your application, including Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), personal statements, interviews and portfolios
- Short courses for mature learners or those without formal qualifications, including the New Beginnings programme
- Campus tours with a student ambassador to explore university life Workshops, taster days and summer schools to help you prepare for study
Support for care experienced and estranged students
We offer dedicated support to help care experienced and estranged students access higher education.
You can take part in activities and events before enrolment to help you prepare for university.
