On the School Direct Salaried programme, trainees will have to complete one day in a primary school as directed by their employing school.

On the PGCE and School Direct Training programme you will complete a 1-2 day primary school experience in the first few weeks of your course. 

This will be set as an early placement 'task' and it is your responsibility to arrange this with a local school. We recommend you speak to the teacher in charge of transition during the first few weeks of your placement. 

They can then support you in contacting feeder schools and arranging a visit to one of them.
