Thank you for your application to study one of the following MA/MFA Sound and Music courses at the University of East London.
- MA/MFA Sound and Music Production
- MA/MFA Sound and Music Performance
- MA/MFA Sound and Music for Media
- MA/MFA Sound and Music for Games
- MA/MFA Sound and Music for Theatre
As part of the admissions requirements you are required to upload a digital portfolio for us to assess your work.
How should I send my portfolio?
Please provide access to an online portfolio or upload examples of your work here which demonstrates the range of your skills and experience in sound and music production, performance, sound and music for media, games or theatre, or other industry contexts relevant to your intended area of specialisation.
For online portfolios (e.g. personal website, bandcamp, soundcloud), please provide a link.
For portfolios that are uploaded, you can submit examples of you practice as individual files in audio, video, image, or pdf formats, as appropriate.
When should I send my portfolio?
You should aim to send in the portfolio within 2 weeks from the date requested.
If you cannot meet this deadline please contact us, otherwise your application may be withdrawn if we do not receive a response.
What do you expect to see in a portfolio?
The portfolio is a very important part of the application process. It should reflect broad examples of your work. This will be used as evidence of your creative ability and potential.
Your portfolio should include
A range of work that provides evidence of your creative and technical skills and experience, including a written overview explaining the vision, concept, and creative and technical processes involved for each example provided.
