MA Creative Enterprise Portfolio Request
Thank you for your application to study MA Creative Enterprise in the School of Arts and Creative Industries (ACI) at the University of East London.
As part of the admissions process, you are required to submit a digital industry portfolio to support your written application.
What are the supporting elements of your application?
CV and portfolio
Your portfolio should present key projects that best represent your creative specialism and illustrate the current direction of your practice. It is an opportunity to communicate both where your creative work is now and what you aim to achieve in your entrepreneurial journey.
Please include an up-to-date CV outlining your work experience, collaborative projects, and any personal or passion projects you have led or contributed to.
What should my portfolio show?
Your portfolio must demonstrate your unique creative perspective and the strengths of your practice. It should include at least four key projects that showcase your expertise in your chosen specialism, whether focused or interdisciplinary. Each project should reflect a specialist skills and, where relevant, any new methods or skills you have explored.
You may use a range of formats to communicate your ideas and outcomes. These can include animation, audio, written content, sketches, film, illustrations, or photographs. Use this opportunity to reflect your understanding of the creative industries, your entrepreneurial ambitions, and your digital literacy.
Consider how your presentation communicates your professional identity and your awareness of the creative and commercial landscape.
Your portfolio should consist of 15-20 pages, in A3 landscape format.
How do I send my portfolio?
Submit your portfolio as a compressed PDF.
If you have links to professional work, such as a website or digital platform, please include full URLs.
If you use QR codes, ensure they are universally accessible across mac and android devices.
When should I send my portfolio?
Upload your portfolio with your initial application.
If this is not possible, please upload it within 7 days of applying. If you need more time, email us as soon as possible.
Applications may be withdrawn if we do not receive a response.
How will I know the outcome?
You will be notified by email.
If you are offered a place, you will need to accept or decline it by the date specified in your email correspondence from the University of East London.
