Paying your fees - international students
Paying your fees - international students
Payment methods and payment deadline
Anyone with a valid offer can make a payment.
For information about how to pay your fees and the payment deadlines, please see the UEL Tuition Fees Policy.
Payment structures and deposits
In order to confirm your offer, you must meet all conditions listed on your offer letter, as well as pay the deposit amount listed on your offer letter.
How much is the deposit?
Your full deposit amount and structure are stated in your offer letter. You can pay a deposit of £1,500 to start the pre-CAS checks process. A further payment will then be required for CAS issuance and enrolment. Any payments made at each stage are deducted from your overall tuition fees, meaning all instalments contribute toward the total fee you are required to pay.
How to pay your deposit or tuition fees
Payments toward your tuition should be made using Flywire.
Not an international student? See information on home fee payments.
Pay online with Flywire
Flywire is our easiest and preferred method of payment. It is an online payment platform that allows international students to make payments in their local currency, track payments, and process payments faster with greater transparency. You can also access Flywire's customer service 24/7 in your local language.
Alternative payment options
Online debit and credit card payment

Please note:
- We do not accept American Express or Diners Cards.
- Payments made online can take 48-72 hours to post on your tuition account.
- Students are responsible for ensuring payment is made. If a friend or third party pays on your behalf and the payment is later reversed (e.g. via a chargeback), the student remains liable for the full amount.

Sponsored students
- If your fees are paid in full or in part by an employer, government agency, or official body such as an international scholarship organisation, you are considered a sponsored student. You must provide a letter from your sponsor and submit details of your sponsor when you enrol.
- Parents, family, and friends do not count as sponsors. If they pay all or part of your fees, you will be classified as a ‘self-funding’ student and you will be expected to pay the fees accordingly.
