Funding FAQs
What is the UEL Funding Calculator?
The Funding Calculator is an online tool that helps you estimate your tuition fees and see what scholarships, discounts, or bursaries you may be eligible for as a student at the University of East London.
Who can use the Funding Calculator?
The calculator is designed for full-time applicants applying for the 2025/26 academic year, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
What information do I need to use the Funding Calculator?
You will be asked:
- Your level of study (undergraduate or postgraduate).
- Your household income
- Your nationality/residency (to determine fee status).
This allows the calculator to give you tailored funding results.
Can I apply for scholarships directly through the calculator?
No. The calculator shows you which UEL scholarships and discounts you may be eligible for, but you will need to follow the application instructions on the relevant scholarship page or in your offer documents.
Where can I get help with funding questions?
The Student Money Advice and Rights Team (SMART) offers free, confidential advice on funding and financial support.
