In this session, you’ll learn how we equip you with the skills and experience to succeed in your fashion career after completing your undergraduate course. We’ll explore key areas of the fashion industry—design, business, communication, and culture—and how technology is driving innovation. Our academics and technicians will lead tours of our facilities, including machine workrooms, sewing studios, textile workshops, bio labs, digital fabrication spaces, and a historical garment and magazine archive.

The Art and Technology of Media Production: Building Professional Readiness
Join us for our media subject talk bringing together Animation, Filmmaking, Games, Sports Journalism & Digital Media and Communication at UEL. Meet tutors and see how our courses build individuality, storytelling, and professional readiness—from taking an idea to script and production on our ScreenSkills‑accredited Filmmaking course to crafting animated narratives and building in‑game cinematics. Tour our industry‑standard facilities, including Mac labs, editing suites, a green screen, newsroom, radio station, the Moving Image Studio, and games and animation studios equipped with gaming laptops, usability rigs, heart‑rate and eye‑tracking tools, plus advanced video and photographic equipment. Tour of Our Maker Space
Engage > Make > Create
Come and have a look at our Maker Space —it's a space for students to explore new technologies, unleash their creativity, and learn in a hands-on, informal environment. The mission of the Maker Club is simple: to create a space where students can immerse themselves in technology, not through lectures or textbooks, but through exploration and doing. We want to offer students the freedom to explore various tech domains in a fun and informal way.
Facilities Tours
Following your subject talk, you will embark on a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities. Fashion students will explore our manufacturing workrooms, sewing studios, screen-printing facilities, and Mac labs. Games and Animation students will visit our multimedia production centre, with Animation also gaining access to edit suites, audio & visual labs, and the green screen studio. Media students will tour the multimedia production centre, TV & broadcasting studios, green screen studio, and edit suites, while Film students will experience our industry-grade edit suites, green screen studio, TV & broadcasting studio, and dedicated production spaces.
