We have created workout programmes for you to follow to make the most of your time at the gym. If you’d like to get stronger or faster, lose weight, or just improve the quality of your life, ask one of our fitness team members to provide you with a printed programme to meet your goals.
Group Exercise Classes
Core and conditioning
Optimal Core – Beginner
A gentle introduction to core training focused on building foundational strength and stability. Exercises use mats and resistance bands, with an emphasis on proper form and posture.
Optimal Core – Intermediate
Challenge your core with dynamic movements and increased intensity to improve balance, strength, and endurance. Includes use of mats, light weights, and resistance tools.
Optimal Core – Advanced
High-intensity core training with complex movements and minimal rest to push strength, control, and muscular endurance. Uses mats, weights, and advanced stability tools.
Boxing and combat
Optimal Boxing – Beginner
Learn basic boxing techniques in a fun, supportive environment while improving coordination and cardiovascular fitness. Gloves and pads are used for light partner drills.
Optimal Boxing – Intermediate
Build on your boxing skills with faster combinations, footwork drills, and higher-intensity cardio. Gloves and pads are used for bag work and partner training.
Optimal Kickboxing – Beginner
A beginner-friendly class introducing kickboxing fundamentals with a focus on technique, cardio, and confidence. Gloves and pads are used for basic strikes and combos.
Optimal Kickboxing – Intermediate
Take your kickboxing to the next level with more complex combinations, agility drills, and power-focused movements. Gloves and pads are used for partner work.
Woman Only Boxing
A supportive, empowering boxing class designed specifically for women to build strength, confidence, and cardiovascular fitness. Participants use gloves and pads for technique drills, partner work, and stress-relieving combinations in a safe and inclusive environment.
Strength training
Optimal Lift – Beginner
A strength and resistance training class designed to introduce foundational movements using light weights and bodyweight exercises. Focuses on proper form, technique, and building confidence in a supportive environment.
Optimal Lift – Intermediate
A progressive strength workout incorporating compound lifts and resistance training to build muscle and endurance. Uses dumbbells, barbells, and bodyweight exercises with moderate intensity and volume.
StrongHer
Our StrongHer class is a safe space for women only to learn to lift, move well, destress and meet other likeminded women. Designed specifically for women, these classes focus on building strength and confidence in a supportive environment.
Kettlebell
Optimal Kettlebell – Beginner
Learn safe and effective kettlebell techniques to build strength and coordination. Focuses on foundational movements like swings and squats using light kettlebells.
Optimal Kettlebell – Advanced
Advanced kettlebell training with explosive movements, minimal rest, and heavier weights to challenge strength, control, and conditioning.
Conditioning and cardio
Optimal Conditioning
A full-body circuit training class using dumbbells, barbells, and gym equipment to improve strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. Suitable for all levels with scalable stations.
Optimal Plyo
Designed to help you move faster, jump higher and develop full-body power, this session uses high-energy, explosive movements to wake up your muscles and fire up your fitness. Think jumps, hops, bounds and rapid changes of direction.
Optimal Ride – Beginner
A low-impact cycling class designed to build cardiovascular fitness and leg strength at a comfortable pace. Stationary bikes are used with guided resistance and rhythm.
Optimal Ride – Intermediate
Push your endurance and power with interval training, hill climbs, and speed drills. Stationary bikes are used with varied resistance and tempo.
Zumba
A dance-based cardio workout inspired by Latin rhythms, designed to boost heart health, coordination, and energy. No equipment needed just move and enjoy!
Optimal Dance
A fun, high-energy dance workout blending various styles to improve cardio fitness, coordination, and mood. No equipment needed just follow the beat and enjoy!
Mobility and flexibility
Optimal Flex
A mobility and flexibility class combining dynamic and static stretches to reduce tension and improve range of motion. Mats and resistance bands may be used.
Yoga
A balanced practice combining breathwork and poses to improve flexibility, strength, and mental clarity. Mats are used, with optional blocks and straps.
Vinyasa Yoga
A flowing yoga style linking breath to movement for improved strength, flexibility, and focus. Mats are essential, with optional props for alignment.
Hatha Yoga
A slower-paced yoga class focusing on foundational poses and mindful breathing to promote relaxation and body awareness. Mats, blocks, and straps may be used.
Mat Pilates
Core-focused exercises performed on a mat to improve posture, stability, and muscular control. Resistance bands, rings, and light weights may be incorporated.
Lower body
LBT (Legs, Bums & Tums)
Targeted toning for the lower body and core using bodyweight, resistance bands, and light weights. Great for building strength, endurance, and sculpting key areas.
LBT Fusion
An exercise class that fuses strength and conditioning, conventional cardio and soca aerobics dance fitness moves and exercises to tone your legs, glutes and abdominal muscles.
