Fitness Centre FAQs
Who can use the Fitness Centre?
UEL students and staff can use the gym, and it’s also open to the local community and corporate members. You’ll need a valid membership or pay-as-you-go pass to train.
Do I need to book a session?
Yes. Book your gym session in advance through the online portal. This helps manage capacity and makes sure you can train when you want.
What happens on my first visit?
If you’re new to SportsDock, come to reception a few minutes early. The team will check you in, explain how access works, and can book you onto an induction if you want a guided start.
What’s included in membership?
Membership gives you access to the Fitness Centre and training zones, plus a wide range of group exercise classes. Some extra services, like personal training, are booked separately.
What should I bring to the gym?
Bring your UEL ID (or membership details), a water bottle, a towel, and clean indoor trainers. Lockers are available on site for your belongings.
