Accommodation for students with disabilities or additional needs
Accommodation for students with disabilities or additional needs
We have rooms across the Docklands campus which are adapted for medical conditions and a range of support in place for students with disabilities or additional needs.
Support for students with disabilities or additional needs
The Residential Life Team has three Welfare Officers who are available to provide pastoral care and bespoke support for residents. There is a Welfare Officer on campus 7 days a week from 9am-5pm. If you disclose a disability, mental health issue, or additional needs on your accommodation application, one of our Welfare Officers will contact you directly before your tenancy starts to discuss your support needs. Where possible, they can also support with any additional needs, should your circumstances change throughout your tenancy.
If you need to get in touch with the residential life welfare officers, you can call or email them at:
