Volleyball

East London Volleyball Club is one of East London’s High-performance teams, currently consisting of two men’s teams and a women’s team, competing in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and cup competitions every Wednesday. The club consists of passionate coaches and players which is further recognised by the club's rich trophy cabinet. 

The Volleyball programme at UEL has been created to ensure success on and off the court through great team spirit, work ethic and developing talent alongside a fantastic group of coaches. The club welcomes players of all abilities and for those who may not want to play, there are still other opportunities to get involved such as becoming a committee member, writing blogs and building a media presence for the team. 

Besides competitive opportunities, we also run a Volleyball Move East London Session every Monday, which is a fun and free session for all students to take part in. It is a great way to still integrate yourself within the Volleyball community without that competitive element each week. 

Volleyball is one of East London Sport’s High-Performance Programmes. A range of scholarships are available for 1st team players which includes bursaries, a diverse support package, an exclusive kit, and access to our private performance facility Aqua East.
