The UEL hockey club is open to all players; from complete beginners wanting to learn, or if you want to pick up from where you left off after school. The club also provides fantastic coaching to both men and women who have played at a previous club, county or professional level.
UEL hockey club enjoys training and playing regular matches, as well as enjoying the social elements of our great club.
The UEL women’s team won their league in the 2017-18 season and the men enjoyed a good season, increasing participation numbers and club development as a whole. The club also enter tournaments (men’s, women’s and mixed) through the year to provide even greater opportunities to play.
Even if you are not a player but still want to get involved, our club is always looking for people to officiate, blog, write match reports and act as committee members.
Hockey training times are currently being reviewed and will be updated shortly.
UEL’s Hockey Club train and compete in the Lee Valley Hockey Centre at the Queen Olympic Park. The centre hosts two full size water based pitches, ideal for hockey players of all levels.
