Futsal
Futsal is a five-a-side game, played indoors with a ball like a football; just slightly smaller and heavier. It’s an exciting, fast-paced game, oriented from South America.
East London Futsal Club has 2 Men’s teams and a Women’s team that compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Leagues and Cup competitions. Teams play their matches on a weekend allowing for more flexibility with their studies and giving the futsal club more opportunities for social events. This is a great opportunity to represent your university and feel part of something special with East London Sport.
Even if you’re not a dedicated player but want to learn more about the game and want to get involved, the Futsal Club is always looking for people to help create a media presence to help promote their club, write match reports, and become a committee member to help develop the club.

The Futsal Club has a great welcoming culture and makes everyone feel important. We have a tremendous Coach that will teach you how to play. Futsal is different to football in terms of footwork, and it is fast paced. Spectators and players alike may find it way more exciting than outdoor football.
