Dr Tuesday Watts Overall

Lecturer in Psychological Studies

Tuesday is a lecturer in the School of Psychology, teaching across several modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her research interests include human sexuality and gender behaviour.

    Tuesday joined the School of Psychology as a lecturer in Psychological Studies in September 2019. Prior to this, she held a teaching position in the Department of Psychology at the University of Essex, where she also completed her PhD in 2017 (The Discordant Development of Sexual Orientation in Identical Twins).

        Social responses to gender behaviour during childhood and adulthood.

        The consequences of these responses for an individual's well being.

        Protective factors that buffer against the harmful effects of stigmatization.
