Programme Leader & Senior Lecturer: Podiatry

Physiotherapy and Podiatry, Health, Sport and Bioscience

I am the programme leader for the BSc (Hons) Podiatry programme.

    I attained a first class BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from University College London.  I initially worked as a Podiatrist in the NHS and then began my academic career in 2000 at UCL before joining UEL in 2003.  I have a Masters in Research and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  I am a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

    As programme leader I am responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the undergraduate programme.

    Member of the Podiatry Programme Leaders Forum at the College of Podiatry.

    External Examiner for BSc (Hons) Podiatry (Full & Part-time pathways), University of Huddersfield; September 2010 to September 2014.

    Convenor of accreditation team on behalf of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists - Accreditation visit Huddersfield University BSc (Hons) Podiatry (February 2010).
