Dr  Dean Todd

Technical Resource Manager

Arts and Digital Industries (ADI)

I have been working at the University of East London for over twenty-five years. Developing the facilities to deliver digital and analogue technologies to staff and students. Working within the School of Arts and Digital Industries has been an amazing experience and extremely rewarding. Specializing in performance and the participatory arts within the Fine Art subject area is particularly fulfilling. Recently completing my professional doctorate in Fine Art has broadened my expertise and understanding of the subject and allowed me to grow as a practicing artist.

Since the early 1990s I have used photography, film, video, presentations/installations and interactive performances within my art practice. Using crowds, groupings, and assemblages of people, I have created work in all kinds of gatherings: carnivals, festivals, pubs, clubs, theatres, galleries, sports events and political rallies.
