Professor Sunitha Narendran

Director of Research

Sunitha joined UEL in April 2016 as Director of Research, Royal Docks School of Business and Law. Prior to this appointment she was the Head of the Department of Management, Faculty of Business and Law, Kingston University. Whilst at Kingston University, she also served as a member of the Senate as well as Board of Governors as its Staff Governor. Sunitha holds a BA Psychology, MA in Human Resource Management, MSc by Research in Management and a PhD in Occupational Psychology. She is a Fellow of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), Associate Fellow of the BPS (British Psychological Society) and a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce).

    Sunitha’s research seeks to understand how individual differences and social contexts influence risk related decision making and performance. Sunitha has extensive research and consultancy experience within and outside the UK. In addition to reviewing papers and membership of editorial boards for Scholarly and Practitioner Journals, she is also a reviewer for the RCUK.
